Dinner at Mimolette

Went for dinner at Mimolette with my darlings yesterdae. Our dear Qiuying finally got her ENT card after soOoo long.. So of course we had to make FULL use of it. We spent a BOMB on dinner. hawhahw. For a moment, we almost ended up washing the dishes at Mimolette. hahaha.

Reservation was made for 7.30pm. We arrived at Mimolette at 6.30pm. And guess wad our dear qiuying told the restaurant person. 'We reach early coz we very hungry.'OMG. We were at this fine restaurant, dressed for the occasion, and this is what our dear girl told the restaurant person. So much for trying to act high class.

Food was excellent. We went from starters, to main course, to dessert, to red wine, to bar snacks, to coffee and drinks. And we ate from 6.30pm to almost 11pm. Bill came up to a shocking $319.. If i remember correctly. And that's excluding tax. haha. Just the 3 of us. I can't imagine what the bill is going to be like if there were 4 of us. I probably wun be here blogging about wad a wonderful dinner i had, but out at Mimolette clearing and washing the dishes. ahahahaha.

My all time favourite! Angel Fruit Cake. Ever since appolina made this for me when i was still working at Mimolette, i fell in love with it. Its a MUST TRY. The custard in the cake is fantastic!


Brandy Chocolate Melt.. The hot chocolate oozed out the moment we cut the cake.. it was sOoooo good.. and soOooo sinful...


Lemon Cheesecake


You would have expect us to feel like exploding by the end of dessert. But NO! We continued conquering the menu. ahwahwhaw.. After sitting there for about an hour or so, just chit chatting and sipping wine, Mingwei said she felt like drinking coffee. So we asked for the menu again. And we did not stop at ordering just coffee and drinks. We ordered bar snacks. =)

Escargot (wadever the spelling) and mushrooms... So so so so so nice!


There was this other thing dat we ordered. Fresh scallops wrapped with ham. I have no idea why we din take a foto of it.

By the end of round 2.. we were finally feeling explosive. ahwahwhawhaw.

Last but not least... a pic of Mingwei and I and Mimolette. Qiuying refuse to take coz she said she's had quite enough of Mimolette. ahwahwhahw.
